Egypt’s in-form forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that he will determine his future at the end of the ongoing season and that he is eager to play football in England.

"I hope to play for one of the top flight teams in the English Premier League," Salah told a television programme Saturday.

Salah’s impressive form in his debut season in Switzerland has fuelled speculation that he could leave Basel for another challenge when the season ends.

"I didn't determine my future with Basel as I am waiting for the end of the season, while the Swiss side's management want to keep me," he added.

The 20-year-old Salah, who has been a revelation at Basel since joining from Egypt’s Arab Contractors last summer, put his side ahead with a neat finish at Stamford Bridge. But Chelsea stormed back to claim a 3-1 victory that lifted them to the Europa League final with a 5-2 aggregate win.

"My goal against Chelsea is so memorable I won't forget it throughout my football career," the Egyptian star said.
