Cameroon midfielder Alex Song has sealed a season-long loan move to West Ham from Barcelona, the Hammers announced on Saturday.
Song, who was introduced by the English side to their fans ahead of Saturday's league game against Southampton, returns to England two years after his £15m switch from Arsenal to Barcelona in 2012.
West Ham are believed to have beaten off competition from the likes of Galatasaray and Napoli to sign the 26-year-old Cameroonian.
Song, who failed to hold down a regular place in Barcelona's starting line-up during his two- year spell in Spain, made only 39 appearances with the Catalan side.
