No Gyan, Asamoah or Ayew for Ghana against Uganda

Black Stars coach Konadu announces squad for Uganda and Togo qualifying clashes, excluding injured duo Gyan and Asamoah and suspended Ayew

Ghana caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu has dropped Kwadwo Asamoah and Asamoah Gyan for the Uganda and Togo games in the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Black Stars skipper Gyan, who plays for UAE side Al-Ain, will miss the trip to Uganda with a thigh injury, while Kwadwo is still struggling with his inflamed knee that will sideline him for two weeks.

Lorient's Jordan Ayew will also miss the match after being shown his second yellow card but will be back against Togo, four days later.

Ghana are leading Group E in the qualifiers with eight points, two points ahead of second placed Togo, while Uganda are third with four points.
