Valencia's Algerian forward Sofiane Feghouli said Sunday he is happy at his club, denying all reports suggesting that he would leave Valencia next summer.
The international forward lost his place as a regular member in his side's starting line-up having opened in four matches only this season. But he said he understands that he couldn't reserve a place on the front bench forever.
"Yes, I am a competitor player, and I want to start every game," Feghouli told France Football Sunday.
"But I understand that there are other players in the team, and they want also to play."
Despite his lack of playing time at Valencia, the 24-year-old who is linked to the club until the summer of 2016 confirms that he is happy at the club and is enjoying his time in the city, denying all reports suggesting he would leave the club sooner rather than later.
"I am now at Valencia and I am very happy here," Feghouli said. "I like La Liga and its football. There are no negotiations concerning a contract extension, but If they want I am ready."
"I am used to hearing rumours regarding a potential departure, but there is no real offer so far," the forward concluded.
