Algeria coach Christian Gourcuff said on Monday his team is ready for all challenges, insisting his side is looking to win all its games at the continental tournament.
The Desert Warriors have been drawn in a tough group alongside Ghana, Senegal and South Africa.
"Although our team is involved in a group of death, our ambition is to win all our games, although we know we will face strong teams," Gourcuff was quoted as saying by Ghanasoccernet.com
"We will try to win our first game against South Africa, and the second (against Ghana) and so on.
"We are aware that we may suffer [as we] face these opponents, as was the case against Mali in phase qualification."
Algeria, who won the continental tournament in 1990, are widely tipped as favourites to win the African title after their strong performance during the last World Cup, when they reached the round of 16 before losing to world champs Germany 2-1 after extra-time.
