Chelsea skipper John Terry said on Tuesday he hopes Ivorian striker Didier Drogba will remain at the club.
Drogba, who returned to Stamford Bridge last summer, was instrumental in coach Jose Mourinho's plans as Chelsea won the Premier League with 3 games to spare by beating Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday.
The veteran striker will be out of contract in the summer and his fate at Chelsea remains unclear.
"Let’s hope he’s in the camp next season," Terry is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
"He’s got a massive part to play on and off the field.
"He's been great because he's had to be patient," he added.
