Jonathan Mensah announced Monday that he might not feature in Udinese’s line-up next season, confirming French side Evian Thonon Gaillard has made him an offer.
"I have heard about a French team being interested in me," Mensah was quoted as saying on Sky Sports.
His participation with Ghana in the 2010 African Cup of Nations along with his good performance during the 2010 World Cup made Mensah a familiar candidate for European teams.
The 20-year old defender told Sky Sports that he is eager to remain with the Italian side but was recently informed that Udinese may seek to offload him this summer.
"Udinese is a good team and I am very happy to be at this club,” he added.
"Football can be a strange workplace, though, and you can move any time two clubs agree terms,” Mensah said.
