Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has not been offered a new contract by the Premiere League club according to his agent, who has also said that many clubs are interested in signing the Ivorian player this summer.
The 34-year-old player's current contract is due to run out this summer. Recent reports in English media said Toure had already been offered a renewal by the Citizens, but agent Dimitri Seluk denied the news.
"We have not heard anything. I read a lot of stories about a new City contract but I know nothing about this. The last time I spoke to anyone at City was in Monaco in March," Seluk was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Monday.
"We have many possibilities. Yaya already has offers from different clubs. They are very interesting offers.
"There are clubs who have already qualified for next season's Champions League, but for Yaya, Manchester City is a very special club. He has given his heart to the club and he would find it difficult to leave City," he added.
Toure was rumoured to be leaving City since the start of the season -- especially after being omitted from the club's Champions League squad -- but regained the confidence of his coach Pep Guardiola after scoring a double against Crystal Palace in Novmeber.
The former skipper of Ivory Coast was recently linked with a move to clubs in Italy and China as well as Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Newcastle United and Brighton; however his agent refused to discuss definite names.
"At the moment Yaya is just concentrating on getting City into the Champions League. That is his only focus. At the end of his contract, we will look at the offers he has," Seluk said.
"He wants to play in the Champions League next season but he would also play for an ambitious club who have big plans - a club who have a project," he added.
Toure, who has played for Man. City since joining from Barcelona in 2010, has scored four league goals in 23 appearances so far this season.
