Chelsea’s Ivorian forward Salomon Kalou confirmed on Thursday that he turned down a transfer offer from the Greek side Olympiakos, however he kept silent regarding reports linking him to a January move to French giant Olympique de Marseille.
"I have nothing to comment on the rumours. Olympiakos were interested but I'm not interested in Greece. I want to play more and more," Salomon Kalou was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
The 26 year-old-forward played only two games with the Blues this season collecting a total of 111 minutes.
According to French Radio Station RMC Olympique de Marseille want to sign the Ivorian forward in January, but Chelsea prefer to loan him to cover the possibility of losing both Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka whose contracts expire at the end of the season.
