Cameroon midfielder Alex Song has expressed delight at being officially unveiled as a new Barcelona player.
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Spanish giants for 19 million euros ($23.4 million), leaving Arsenal after seven seasons with the Premier League club.
"Today is a very good day for me and my family. Very happy to be here, this is the best team in the world, playing at a club like Barca is something I wanted when I was young," Song told Barca TV on Monday.
"I hope the team will continue to win, this is a winning team. They win everything. I will give my best in training and when I get the chance to play I will do it," he added.
Song is Barcelona's second signing this summer after defender Jordi Alba, who joined from Valencia.
