TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo qualified for the African Champions League round of 16 after hammering Botswana's Centre Chiefs 6-0 in Lubumbashi on Sunday to complete a 7-0 aggregate win.

Zambian midfielder Rainford Kalaba opened the scoring after six minutes and forward Tresor Mputu converted a penalty on the quarter hour mark to double Mazembe's lead.

Kalaba found the net again in the 35th minute to make it 3-0 before Tanzanian international striker Mbwana Samata put the result beyond doubt in the 75th minute.

Muputu scored his second of the night five minute later and Eric Nkulukuta completed the rout in stoppage time.
