Ghana winger Andre Ayew has announced that he will leave his French team Marseille when the summer transfer window reopens as he is eager to join a club that can win trophies.
“The club have made it clear if they receive a good offer they will listen to that," Ayew was quoted as saying on Ghanasoccernet.com.
"But I will not go just to please the club, I will go to a club that wants to win trophies,” he added.
The 23-year-old has reportedly been chased by European sides Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Marseille are second in the French league team's table with 57 points, seven behind the league's leaders PSG.
“But now I want to finish the season well with Marseille and qualify for the Champions League,” the 2011 Ghana player of the year concluded.
