Morocco midfielder Younes Belhanda has made no secrets of his desire to leave French side Montpellier in order to join a bigger league.

"I would like to leave Montpellier this summer but only to join one of four big European leagues (Spain, England, Italy and Germany)," the 23-year-old playmaker was quoted as saying by French magazine Midi-Libre.

Belhanda, who is under contract until 2015, has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in the French League.

He helped Montpellier claim their first ever Ligue 1 title in 2012, winning also the Young Player of the Year award.

His performance has attracted several clubs, but until now Turkish giants Fenerbahce are the only side who tabled an official bid.

"I don't want to minimise that offer. We saw Galatasaray in the Champions League quarter finals and Fenerbahce in the semis of the Europa League. The French don't go that far," he added.

When talking about newly crowned France Champions PSG, he said a move could be tempting, but he is more likely to leave France. "I hope a move would be sealed before the pre-season," Belhanda concluded.
