Nigerian striker Nnamdi Oduamadi has signed a one-year loan deal with Serie B side Brescia with a buy-out option from AC Milan at the end of the deal.
The Italian side announced the news on Friday on their official website and the player revealed his delight on his Twitter account.
Oduamadi, who will turn 23 in October, emerged on the international scene during the last FIFA Confederations Cup, scoring three goals for the Super Eagles.
He was a permanent feature in Nigeria's youth teams until he made his senior debut against Kenya on 29 March 2011. He has scored four goals in seven matches so far.
Since joining Milan in 2010 he played a single game and was loaned out to second-tier teams Torino (2011) and Varese (2012) but failed to make a big impact.
Now with much more international experience and confidence he hopes to make a break through with Brescia.
