Ismaily Dutch coach Mark Wotte has selected his 20-man squad for Friday’s match against Kenya’s Sofapaka in their first-leg in round 32 of the African Confederation Cup at Ismailia stadium.
The yellow squad won’t include Ahmed Hegazy or Mohamed Awad as they are both on national duty with the young Pharaohs. Shady Mohamed will also miss the clash due to injury.
In the other camp, Sofapaka ended preparations with Thursday’s training session at the host’s stadium. The Kenyan side has the right to hold a final session on their away-field according to Confederation of African Football CAF regulations.
The Egyptian team reached this round after the drew gave them the bye. The two sides met during the last tournament in round 64 that ended 2-0 for Ismaily on aggregate.
Egyptian Premier League club, Haras Al-Hodoud will meet Ethiopia’s Dedebit FC on Sunday in the same round.
