Former France coach Roger Lemerre has been appointed as Etoile du Sahel's new boss, the Tunisian side announced on Wednesday.
"Lemerre will start his mission as club's new coach on Thursday," Etoile said on their official website.
The 72-year-old coach, who won Euro 2000 with France, signed a six-month contract.
Lemerre is no stranger to Tunisian football, having managed the Tunisian national team from 2002 to 2008, leading the Carthage Eagle to the African Cup of Nations title in 2004.
Etoile du Sahel are sixth in the Tunisian league with 13 points, six behind leaders Club Africain.
