After scoring twice in Roma's 3-2 win over Napoli in Coppa Italia's semis on Wednesday, the Ivorian forward joked about beating Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt if running while dribbling.

The international forward used his speed to accelerate past the Naploi defence to score a brace on Wednesday's night.

"If we run with the ball at our feet, then I would win, because that’s difficult! If there’s no football, then he’d beat me," Gervinho was quoted as saying by football-italia on Thursday.

The 26-year-old, who produced a string of strong displays with Roma this season, expressed his delight over his performance during Wednesday's win.

“I am happy to share my joy with the fans and the team. It was great to score two goals."
