AC Milan midfielder Adel Taarabt is confident that the team’s fortunes will change when they take on Atletico Madrid on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.
The Italian giants were stunned by their defeat at home three weeks earlier, which gave them a mountain to climb in the Vicente Calderon.
"At San Siro, we should have won 2-0! We were very unlucky. We dominated at our ground and we can do it there. We don't fear Atletico," the Moroccan midfielder told Milan Channel on Monday.
The 24-year-old player joined AC Milan on loan during the winter transfer window and so far has only played a handful of games.
The Rossoneri are going through one of their worst seasons ever, trailing in tenth place of the Serie A with only 35 points after 27 games, and now seem very unlikely to continue their European adventure.
