Germany captain Philipp Lahm and attacking midfielder Thomas Mueller have both extended their contracts with Bayern Munich for two more years.
Bayern says Lahm has signed through June 2018 and Mueller has agreed to a deal through June 2019.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says, "Both Philipp Lahm and Thomas Mueller are very important foundation stones for Bayern. Both have stayed true to the club from the beginning of their careers and will play an important role here in the future, too."
Lahm, a 30-year-old right back who often played in midfield this past season, says, "It's definitely my last contract. I will finish my career at Bayern. That was always what I wanted."
Both he and the 24-year-old Mueller are in Brazil playing for Germany at the World Cup.
