1960 - Played in South Korea. Champions: South Korea. Runners-up: Israel

1964 - Played in Israel: Champions: Israel. Runners-up: India

1968 - Played in Iran: Champions: Iran. Runners-up: Burma

(Finals were played from 1972 onwards).

1972 - Played in Thailand: Iran beat South Korea 2-1 aet

1976 - Played in Iran: Iran beat Kuwait 1-0

1980 - Played in Kuwait: Kuwait beat South Korea 3-0

1984 - Played in Singapore: Saudi Arabia beat China 2-0

1988 - Played in Qatar: Saudi Arabia beat South Korea 4-3 on pens (0-0 aet)

1992 - Played in Japan: Japan beat Saudi Arabia 1-0

1996 - Played in United Arab Emirates: Saudi Arabia beat UAE 4-2 on pens (0-0 aet)

2000 - Played in Lebanon: Japan beat Saudi Arabia 1-0

2004 - Played in China: Japan beat China 3-1

2007 - Played in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam: Iraq beat Saudi Arabia 1-0
