In an advance copy of a speech to the UEFA Congress in London, Platini says that six years after proposing a sports force ''there has been no response'' from European governments.
He adds that ''given the absence of any reaction and the lack of awareness on the part of politicians, I renew that call.''
Platini says he will ask each of UEFA's 53 member nations to introduce match-fixing laws to give them the ''legal tools necessary to rigorously punish these cheats.''
Platini says only 10 nations have such provisions.
