Police charge 3 men after alleged hacking at English FA

AP, Friday 29 Nov 2013

Manchester police say three men, including a senior referee, have been charged following allegations of computer hacking and sharing private information at the English Football Association.

They will appear at a magistrates' court in Stockport, near Manchester, on Thursday charged with perverting the course of justice.

Dean Mohareb, who is a member of the FA's referees department in his role as national referee development manager, was also charged Friday with unauthorized access to computer data. He was first arrested over allegations that he hacked into a colleague's email account last October.

The three men charged — Mohareb, Liam Cliff and Vincent Rossi — all live near Manchester.
