Spain's public prosecutor on Wednesday sought a criminal tax indictment against Barcelona football club over the signing of Brazilian star Neymar, a copy of the filing showed.

Former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell resigned last month over a judicial wrangle sparked by the signing of Neymar, which the club said cost 57.1 million euros ($78 million).
