Italian players will be wearing shirts that deliver massages at the World Cup in Brazil, Italian news website Il Sole 24 Ore reports.
The jerseys, which will be donned by Italy for the first time during Wednesday's friendly against Spain, reportedly contain a special tape that provides 'micro-massages' for the wearer.
The strips 'maximise muscle power' by allowing the body to recover from exertion more quickly, according to its manufacturer, Puma.
Commenting on the kit's appearance rather than its technology, Italy skipper and veteran keeper Gianluigi Buffon said he was impressed by the shirt's "true Italian touch."
The new kit is now set for a tour of its own, as Puma will be taking it around Italian cities so fans "can express their passion for the national team."
Four-time World Cup champions Italy, who will be playing two other friendlies against Ireland and Luxemburg ahead of the tournament in Brazil, open their campaign against England on 14 June.
