Rain stopped play at Wimbledon on all courts except the main Centre Court at 1237 GMT on Saturday.

Play should have begun at 1030 GMT on the outside courts but an earlier shower delayed the start by 90 minutes.

However, with light rain again falling over the All England Club, it meant only Rafa Nadal's third round encounter with Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin could continue, albeit under a closed Centre Court roof.

Among those scampering back into the locker room was world number one Serena Williams, whose match against Alize Cornet on Court One was halted at 1-1 in the first set.
