An Egyptian 2014 World Champion has been guaranteed as Mohamed Elshorbagy and Rami Ashour reached the final of the world tournament.

One hour after Ashour's win against Frenchman Gregory Gaultier, world number one Mohamed Elshorbagy eased past Nick Matthew of England 3-0 (11/9,11/5 and 11/8) in the tournament's semis, securing a place in Friday's final.

"I had a great night," Elshorbagy told a squash news site after the game

"It is unbelievable to win that match three-nil.

''I came here to fight for every point from start to finish," he added.
