Squash: Egypt women smash USA to reach World Championship semis

Egypt, who are dominating the world squash rankings, have booked their place in the semifinals of the 2016 Women World's teams Championship in France after beating the USA -- the world number seven -- 3-0 in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Nouran Gohar, world number 3, needed 27 minutes to beat American Olivia Blatchford, world number 30, 3-1 (11/3, 11/4, 11/7).

World number one Nour El Sherbini defeated Amanda Sobhy, world number seven, 3-1 (11/7, 11/9, 4/11, 13/11) in 42 minutes.

Raneem El Welily, world number two, defeated Reeham Sedky 2-0 (12/10, 11/5).
