After he lost in the final of the Hong Kong Open, Egyptian squash player flies directly to Kuwait for PSA Cup 2011compitition

Ten Egyptian players are to play in Kuwait PSA Cup 2011 taking place in Kuwait City, between 23 and 29 November.

The ten Egyptian players are Karim Darwish, Amr Shabana, Mohamed El Shorbagy, Omar Mosaad, Mohd Ali Anwar Reda, Tarek Momen, Mohammed Abbas, Karim Abdel Gawad, Omar Abdel Aziz and Marwan El Shorbagy.

The second seeded, Karim Darwish, who lost 3-0 by Englishman James Willstrop in the finals of Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Squash Open in Hong Kong, traveled directly to Kuwait to participate in the tournament.

Eighty two international squash players are competing for the $165,000 price tournament, including world number one, Nick Matthew and 3rd seeded Willstrop.

Egyptians have dominated the Kuwait Cup in recent years with Ramy Ashour and Amr Shabana appearing in the last three finals. Ashour won in 2007 and 2010 while Shabana won in 2008.
