Zamalek won their 18th Egyptian league title after defeating rivals Ahly 21-18 in the final matchday in Cairo on Sunday.

The White Knights came from four goals down in the early stages of the second half to win the game with a three-goal difference.

This title is the first for Zamalek since 2016 when they lifted their 17th league trophy.

Zamalek have already won the African Super Cup at the expense of Ahly earlier this month.

They will represent Africa in the Super Globe, which will be played in the summer in Saudi Arabia.
