Volleyball: Zamalek clinch men’s African Club Championship title

Egypt’s Zamalek book their place in 2012 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship after decisively beating Etoile Sportive du Sahel

Zamalek's volleyball team clinched the men’s African Club Championship title after defeating Tunisia’s Etoile Sportive du Sahel 3-1 in the final on Sunday.

The Whites won their fifth African title after dominating the match to win three sets (25-17, 16-25, 25-18, 31-29).

The Cairo giants will now feature in the 2012 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship in Qatar, to be held from 13 to 19 October. Their last appearance at the tournament was in 2009.
