You would be super smart to make reservations in advance at any restaurant, regardless if they have something special for Valentines. Just avoid wasting your time and making your stomach rumble when you both are in high anticipation of a nice dinner out. Second, I’m sure you’re already mulling over what to get them; something from the heart that they will really enjoy. Here are some suggestions.

PLACE
Swiss Club:

Their outdoor patio on actual grass makes it a unique spot in Cairo. On the cusp of Aguza and Imbaba, it really is a surprise to find an ample house with ample property around it. At the Swiss Club they are used to hosting dinners and activities, so I trust that they can pull off a nice, relaxed evening. A hint: the Swiss Club Valentine’s might be nicer in a group of couples instead of just you and your date.

Crystala Nile cruise:
Setting sail from AghaKhan in Shubra, from 7pm to 9pm on Valentine’s with their resident DJ, dinner will be served with desserts. They offer a gift as a memorabilia at the end of the night. Hint: there’s roughly a 50 per cent coupon on the web.
