Cairo’s JW Marriott hotel launched Strawberry Festival in collaboration with culinary experts from far and wide on 20 January.
Strawberry Festival, which is taking place at the hotel’s open-air restaurant Plateau, is presenting samples of strawberry desserts created by master chefs who cook both desserts and main dishes in a wonderful outdoor patio where the guests enjoy sharing meaningful moments that help nourish the mind, body and soul.
In the opening ceremony speech, the Marriott’s general manager, Heinz Grub, appraised all the participating hotels, including Cairo’s Marriott Hotel and Omar Khayyam Casino, Sheraton Cairo Hotel and Casino, the Westin Cairo Golf Resort and Spa, Katameya Dunes, Meridian Airport Cairo Hotel, Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel, as well as Al-Nour Company for sponsoring the festival.
He talked about the strawberry as a product and its related nutritional values, as the chefs from all Marriott hotel branches showcased their creative skills and enthusiasm in designing unique items.
Among the festival attendees were journalists and food bloggers that are well-known on social media networks, as well as general managers and food and beverage directors from the participating Marriott hotels.
