Tighter security measures at archaeological sites and museum during election

To guard against any incidents at archaeological sites and museums in Egypt during the election, Mustafa Amin, secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), has commissioned heads of sectors of Ancient Egyptian, Islamic and Coptic antiquities to tighten security measures. This is in collaboration with the Antiquties and Tourism Police.

Amin told Ahram Online that the number of the SCA security guards has been doubled at archaeological sites across the country.
