Demonstrators across Brazil are taking to the streets for a day of nationwide anti-government protests, calling for President Dilma Rousseff's impeachment

President Rousseff's second term in office has been shaken by an escalating corruption scandal involving politicians from her Workers’ Party as well as a stifled economy, declining currency, and rising inflation, causing her approval rating to drop to historic lows.
