Egyptian iconic actress and singer Shadia passed away on Tuesday in Cairo

The funeral for singer, actress Shadia was held this morning at El-Sayeda Nafisa Mosque after the funerary prayer.

Shadia passed away yesterday at the age of 86 after a long struggle with illness and a recent brain stroke.

The funeral was attended by Culture Minister Helmy El-Namnam as well as a large number of actors, actresses and media representatives, including Farouk El-Fishawy, Ragaa El-Gedawy, Elham Shaheen, Dalal Abdelaziz, Ashraf Zaki, Amr El-Leithy and Magda Zaki.

Shadia was buried at her family grave in El-Basatin area.
