The anti-SCAF campaign, Kazeboon, marches for hours from Kit Kat through the streets of Imbaba before showing video of army violations

The Kazeboon (Liars) campaign met Friday at Kit Kat Square before marching through the streets of Imbaba chanting slogans against the ruling military council.

Similar rallies have been taking place throughout Egypt, aiming to raise awareness at a local level about rights violations that have taken place since the army took power in February 2011.

At Friday's demonstration, protesters marched for hours through small side streets bringing revolutionary slogans learned from Tahrir to local neighbourhoods.

When the march reached it's intended destination and began to set up equipment to show videos of army violations, a small number of local residents complained aggresively and threatened violence, forcing the demonstrators to march to another location to show the videos.
