Egypt's Minister of Defence Sedki Sobhy discusses regional developments with Greek counterpart

Egypt's Minister of Defence Sedky Sobhy discussed on Thursday recent developments in the Middle East with his Greek counterpart Panos Kammenos in Cairo, the Egyptian Armed Forces said in a statement.

Minister Sobhy praised the current level of coordination and consultation between Egypt and Greece in defence and security, expressing his aspiration to boost cooperation between the two countries' armed forces.

Minister Panos asserted that Egypt and Greece share the same vision concerning a number of issues and files that threaten international peace and security efforts.

The meeting between Sobhi and Kammenos was attended by a number of Egyptian and Greek military officials, as well as the Greek ambassador to Cairo and the Greek military attaché in Cairo.
