Egypt, Kuwait carry out joint naval drills in Kuwaiti waters

Egyptian and Kuwaiti naval forces continued on Tuesday the Al-Sabah-1 and Al-Yarmuk-4 joint drills involving various naval exercises, a statement by Egyptian military spokesperson Tamer El-Refai said.

The drills, which are taking place in Kuwaiti territorial waters and air bases, involve safeguarding naval vessels carrying important cargo, conducting vessel searches, rescue operations, daytime and nighttime sailing, and refuelling at sea.
