Legal experts and politicians have lauded efforts by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to bring about security, stability, and development in Egypt.

During a seminar run by MENA board chairman Ali Hassan on Wednesday to discuss a book written by head of the Court of Appeals Khaled Mohamed El-Qady, the participants spoke about the significant role played by President El-Sisi in fighting terrorism.

Speaking about his book, The Protection of Peoples in Wartime, El-Qady said it took nearly 10 years to compile, review, and finalise.

Egypt was and will remain the cradle of civilisation, science, arts, and literature, El-Qady said, adding that the book is his gift to the whole world.

Egypt was the first country in history to establish the principle of justice, he said, adding that ancient Egyptians chose Maat as a goddess of justice.

The seminar was attended by former prime minister Essam Sharaf and former foreign minister Mohamed El-Arabi.
