The Arabic Culture Programme at the American University in Cairo will host journalist and author Mohamed Shoair, on Saturday, 1 December, at 6:00pm to discuss the recently rediscovered manuscripts of Naguib Mahfouz.

Shoair will also discuss his latest book on Naguib Mahfouz, 'Sons of Gebelawi: Biography of the Forbidden Novel.'

The lecture will be delivered in Arabic at Oriental Hall, the AUC Tahrir Campus.
