Egypt will host the UAE's Super Cup for the second year in row, the United Arab Emirates' Pro League Committee confirmed on Monday.

"The Super Cup match will be played at Cairo's 30 June Stadium on 15 September," the committee said in an official statement.

UAE league champions Al Jazira will be facing Cup winners Al Wahda FC in the Super Cup match.

"We chose to play the match in Egypt again due to the strong relationship between the two countries and also after the huge success of last year's edition," the chief executive of the UAE Pro League Committee, Walid Al-Hawsany, said.

30 June Stadium hosted last year's Emirati Super Cup match when league champions Al Ahli defeated Cup holders Al Jazira 2-1.

The UAE hosted the Egyptian Super Cup matches in the last two years when Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek won the titles.
