CAF Champions League holders Wydad Casablanca qualified for the competition's group stage with a 7-4 aggregate win over Williamsville Athletic Club, with Congolese giants TP Mazembe also marching through.

Despite losing 2-0 in Abidjan in the return leg, a 7-2 home victory from the first leg meant the Moroccans have almost secured qualification for the group stage.

A brace from team captain Diallo Kouassi in the 38th and 82nd minutes narrowed the deficit for the Ivorian side, who needed to annul a five-goal trailing to march through.

TP Mazembe, on the other side, progressed following a 4-3 aggregate win over Mozambique's União Desportiva do Songo.

Despite losing 3-0 away from home on Saturday, Mazembe's 4-0 first-leg lead meant they hold a big advantage ahead of the return leg.

Helder Pelembe gave the Mozambique side a first-minute lead before Jose Dinis Sair scored three minutes after the break, as the former netted again 15 minutes from time.
