Ahly's winger Ramadan Sobhi has been included in the squad that will face rivals Masry in the Egyptian Premier league on Thursday after recovering from his injury, the club announced on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old Sobhi, who joined Ahly on loan from Premier League side Huddersfield in January, missed Thursday's 1-0 league loss to Pyramids FC after sustaining a thigh injury during his team's preparations for the crucial game.

Sobhi has been a key figure in the Red Devils’ league success this season, scoring a goal and assisting two in 10 appearances.

Key playmaker Walid Soliman was not called up for the Masry game by coach Martin Lasarte despite recovering from his injury, while youth team midfielder Araby Badr was in; getting his first ever call up for the senior squad.

Ahly are third in the Egyptian Premier League team table with 58 points after playing 26 games, two points behind current leaders Pyramids FC, who played three matches more.

The Cairo giants, Ahly, will be in a must win situation against coastal side Masry in the postponed match from week 19 of the league to revive their hopes of winning their 41st league title.
