Egyptian Aston Villa winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan has affirmed his commitment to the English Premier League side, denying reports linking him with a return to the Turkish League.

"I have a contract with Aston Villa for five years and I am committed to see out my deal with the English Premier League side," Trezeguet told a television programme.

"My dream was to play in the English Premier League, so I am completely concentrating on this step. All my concentration is on the current stage and I am not thinking about what will happen after the end of the season," the Egyptian winger added.

Reports in the Egyptian media linked 25-year-old winger Trezeguet with a return to the Turkish side Beşiktaş when the summer transfer window reopens in June.

Trezeguet joined Villa in the last summer transfer window coming from Turkish side Kasimpasa. He participated in 31 games, scoring four goals and providing three assists in all competitions.
