Zamalek have announced the signing of Tunisian Forward Seifeddine Jaziri on loan until the end of the season with the option of being permanent from the Egyptian Premier League black horse Arab Contractors, the club announced early on Sunday.

The signing of the 27-year-old attacker comes as a boot for the White squad after the departure of the team's Striker Mostafa Mohamed who joined Turkish giants Galatasaray.

"Any African player always hopes to join Zamalek's squad so I agreed to join the club due to its continental experience," Jaziri was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

Jaziri is Zamalek's third January signing after they announced the arrival of Maqassa Striker Marwan Hamdi and after having brought back former playmaker Ayman Hefni.

"We succeeded to sign two players before the end of the winter transfer window to replace the departure of Mostafa Mohamed," Zamalek's spokesman Essam Salem told a television programme.

The former Club Africain of Tunisia forward made nine appearances with Arab Contractors in all competitions, scoring four goals as well as providing one assist.

"Club Africain and Zamalek fans asked me to join the Whites' squad and I hope it will be a successful step for me and the club," the Tunisian player added.

The only weak point in Jaziri's arrival to Zamalek is that he won't join the Whites' African squad according to regulations of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the forward played previously with Arab Contractors in the African Confederation Cup this season.

Zamalek are in the driving seat of the Egyptian Premier League teams' table with 23 points after playing nine games so far this season.
