Zamalek name squad for Ethiopia's St George CAF clash

With a draw in the first leg, the Whites announce their squad for Ethiopia's St George CAF Champions League clash


Zamalek technical staff, under Brazilian-Portuguese manager Jorvan Vieira, have named the 20-man squad for Sunday's African Champions League round of 16 second-leg clash against Ethiopia's Saint George.

The home first-leg ended in a 1-1 draw.

Defender Salah Soliman, forward Yussef Hassan and keeper Mahmoud Hamdy will miss the game due to injury.

Medical staff confirmed that Abdoulaye Cisse is ready for the game after he picked up a minor injury in his right foot.

The team will fly Friday afternoon to Ethiopia.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed, Ahmed El-Shenawy

Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah, Hamada Tolba, Sabri Rahil, Mohamed Abdel-Shafi, Ahmed Samir

Midfielders: Omar Gaber, Hazem Emam, Ibrahim Salah, Ahmed Tawfik, Ahmed Magdy, Nour El-Said, Alexis Mondomo, Islam Awad, Ahmed Hassan

Strikers: Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek, Abdoulaye Cisse, Ahmed Gafar, Mohamed Ibrahim.
