After scoring twice against Ethiopia in the first-leg of the World Cup play-offs on Sunday, Nigeria's striker Emmanuel Emenike said he had confidence in his abilities.
Emenike helped Nigeria to a 2-1 precious win away, taking his team closer to the World Cup.
"I was not worried at all, even though they were marking me very tightly," Emenike toldKickOffNigeria.com
"I knew I could score with a shot, because my shots are very strong, I just wanted to get the right moment," he added.
Despite a comfortable win, the 26 year-old voiced caution regarding his team's chances of reaching the world Cup, emphasising that It is not over yet.
The second leg will take place in Nigeria on 16 November.
"It is not over yet, we still have to play the remaining 90 minutes at home. After that, we can celebrate," he concluded.
