Efforts under way to increase turnout of voters in South Sinai on the third day of polling in Egypt's presidential election
Campaigners in support of Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi have been knocking on doors in South Sinai to encourage people to vote, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.
Turnout has been lower than expected in the presidential contest between former army chief El-Sisi and leftist politician Hamdeen Sabahi.
The Salafist Nour Party has also been campaigning for El-Sisi in the region. It has been providing information on where to vote and transporting voters to their polling stations.
El-Sisi's campaign has been using the hashtag "go down and raise your country's flag" to encourage people to vote. It displays pictures of El-Sisi supporters after casting their ballots.
