Italian giants and Premier League's Newcastle have shown their interest in hiring Nigeria’s striker Peter Odemwingie but he focuses on preventing West Brom’s relegation

West Brom striker Peter Odmwingie revealed on Monday that he isn’t interested about his future and confirmed that his target is sparing the Baggies an end of the season relegation.

"My focus is to save West Brom," Odemwingie told Skysports.com.

According to the report, the Nigerian international star is on the radar of Newcastle and the Italian giants Juventus, who were interested by his impressive displays in the Premier League this season.

The 29 year-old striker produced an excellent performance with the Baggies, scoring 12 goals so far.

"I scored at the weekend but we lost; that's not good. The most important thing is to beat relegation and nothing else," he concluded.

Odemwingie scored his team's only goal in last Saturday’s defeat against Chelsea 3-1 in day 33 of the English Premier League.

West Brom are eleventh in the League table with 39 points, 6 points above the drop zone.
