The Zamalek winger could be a major doubt for the Egyptian Premier League return games with a muscle injury
Egypt and Zamalek winger Hazem Emam will undergo medical scans to define the seriousness of muscle problems he suffered from as well as to determine his situation for the Whites' game against Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League next week, Zamalek doctor Adel Hadad announced Monday.
The 26-year-old right winger suffered from muscle problems that sidelined him from Egypt national team's 2-0 win over Botswana in the 2015 African Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers last Friday.
Zamalek are ninth in the Egyptian Premier League teams' table with five points after playing only three games as they still have two games in hands.
Emam is confirmed to miss Egypt's coming game against Botswana in the CAN 2015 qualifiers on Wednesday.
